Description property

Set in the quiet resort of Anaxos among colourful plants and flowers, these newly built, spacious properties are finished to a very high standard ensuring that your stay here will be as relaxing as possible. Anaxos beach is about ten minutes walk, and there you will find a  selection of bars, tavernas and restaurants. Nearby there is a mini-market and a bakery. The bus stop is just outside serving the local resorts of Petra, Molyvos and Eftalou.

This friendly, family run property has a very well maintained swimming pool with sun chairs and umbrellas. It also has a bar area serving draught and imported beers, long drinks and cocktails. The bar also serves breakfast, lunches, snacks and light meals. 

Entertainment includes a weekly BBQ followed by Greek music and traditional dancing.

Transport

There are reasonably good bus services across the island, especially between Anaxos and Mitilini. In May to September there is a local regular bus service along the coast from Eftalou to Molivos and Petra and then to Anaxos. However, there is a less frequent winter service. There is a taxi rank just outside the town and fares are reasonable. A car is really not necessary within Anaxos but if you wish to explore the whole island it would certainly be an advantage. There is a large port in Mytilini with daily sailings to Athens (about 9 hours) and Chios, and also frequent sailings to Limnos and Rhodes. Domestic flights to Athens take about 45 minutes (Aegean and Olympic Airways). Direct charter flights from the UK (Gatwick and Manchester) are from May to Mid October on Thursdays. Otherwise you have to fly via Athens (Easy jet, Olympic and British Airways). There are also direct flights from Holland, Norway and Germany in the summer. ). In season the changeover day for rentals is Thursday.

Please let us know what time you will arrive at Mitilini airport/harbour/ferry or Molivos Village, because there is no 24 hours front desk service available. We advice you to let us arrange a taxi to pick you up from the airport/harbour.

If you like to rent a car we can recommand Kosmos carrental Company , you will have enough time to do this the next day/morning because it will be open 7 days a week and you can leave your car at the Airport on your last day.

Terms/Conditions

1. Reservations

Guests should submit all reservation requests to the representative’s e-mail address: info@lesboshouses.com. It’s not possible to book through phone calls or fax

2. Rates

Include VAT (tax) and service charge
Check-in: 12.00 hrs, check-out 10.00 hrs
Late check-out is subject to room availability on the date of departure.
Late check out between 10.00 hrs and 16.00 hrs will be charged at 50% of the daily rate if available.
Transfer each way is not included in the rate and a taxi can be arranged.

3. Methods of payment

bookings

• If your bill is below 100 euros, we require a full payment by paypal.com banking; into account info@lesboshouses.com
• A deposit of 25% of the total bill with provided booking number is needed to secure a reservation. Payment can be made by paypal.com banking; into account info@lesboshouses.com Final payment is required 30 days prior to arrival.
• Group booking (exclusively)
  A deposit for 50% of the total bill with provided booking number  is needed to secure an exclusive reservation. Payment can be made by paypal.com or a bank transfer. Final payment is required 60 days prior to arrival.

4. Cancellation Policy

Notification of cancellation can be accepted via fax (+302253071641) or e-mail info@lesboshouses.com only. The deposit will be refunded if the cancellation is made 2 clear months or more before the arrival date. Later then 2 months, the deposit is non-refundable and will be used to cover administration, banking charges and lost income for you’re your bookings.

5. Modifications
We make every effort to ensure that the description given on internet is correct. However we reserve the right to make slight modifications in the interest of improving the facilities and services, without prior notice.

6. Cleaning
During your stay we shall be allowed access to the property at a reasonable time for the purposes of inspection, cleaning and maintenance.
During your stay you and your party should keep the property and equipment in the same state as at the beginning of your holiday and leave it in the same condition of cleanliness and order as it was found. You and your party are responsible for damages and losses to the property during your stay and you will be required to pay for any repairs/replacements necessary.

7. Our liability
The property owner cannot be held responsible for the death or personal injury of yourself or any person named on the booking form or other person at the property during your stay, unless this results directly from the proven negligence of the owner.
The property owner shall not be liable for any loss or delay caused by any reasonable control, including explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, war or threat of war, civil disturbance, restrictions, regulations or measurements of any kind on the part of the governmental or local authority, strikes or adverse weather conditions.

8. Behavior
The person who made the booking is responsible for the correct and decent behavior of his/her party. If considered necessary you and your party may be required to vacate the property. No refund will be made in this instance.

9. Security and valuables
Any valuables left at the property are left at your own risk. The property owner shall not be liable for their loss, damage or theft. For your own extra security we suggest you rent the safety box provided.

10. Insurance 
In the interest of you and your party you should be covered by substantial travel insurance covering personal liability and cancellation cover.

11. Arrival and departure
The usual arrival time for properties in Greece is between 12.00 hours and 14.00 hours and the accommodation should be vacated by 10.00 hours. If these times are difficult for you, please advise us so that were possible alternative arrangements can be made.
The person who made the booking is responsible for letting us know the arrival time of the party within the village, so that we may assist you in finding the accommodation. We therefore recommend that you to let us arrange a taxi that will bring you directly to the accommodation.
